Dear Lynne, Fiona and all the wonderful Charterhouse Pre-School teachers past and present, We would like to say a huge thank-you to all of you for everything you have done for us over the 6 years we were at Charterhouse Pre-School. We have all had such an amazing time there with fantastic memories and great friends. We loved circle time, snack bar, home corner, story time, singing, dancing, painting, making crafts, dressing up, playing outside, trains, building blocks, posting letters, Nativity plays, visiting Coolings Nature Trail and Sports Day! Thank-you for all the love and care you gave us – you were all like second mums and we loved you all. Thanks for helping us to grow and be ready for big school. We will really miss you all but will never forget you.

It’s that time of year when we all get a little reflective with our little ones moving on to new schools. When I’ve taken a moment to reflect on Charterhouse and what it’s provided for L it is immeasurable. She has grown in confidence, academic ability and spirit which is exactly what we hoped for. You have nurtured our ‘baby’ in the way we could only have wished – so thank you and all your staff as I know it’s a team effort.
Dear Fiona & Lynne, Just wanted to say a massive thank you to you and all of the staff for all of the hard work you all do to look after our little ones. I stumbled upon Charterhouse Pre-School in my Google searches – what a find! It was only afterwards I discovered what a high regard the pre-school is held in in the community. A has absolutely loved every minute of pre-school. She speaks so highly of every day we know she has been very well cared for. Thank you so much for all the lovely things you have all planned for her and all you have taught her. Thank you for always being there to reply to texts and emails to put our minds at ease.
We would just like to thank you all so much for all of your hard work and making Y’s pre-school journey so special. We have been very happy with Y’s progress and she really has come on leaps and bounds. We believe that you all have played a big part in that. Thank you again for making her time with you such a happy, fun and memorable experience. I know she will miss you all so much but she is certainly ready for big school which I’m sure she will settle into just fine and will hopefully be a smooth transition thanks to you guys.
We would just like to express our extreme thanks for looking after our children over the last few years. They have learnt so much in such a short space of time and have become very confident young people. S thinks Charterhouse Pre-School is awesome (his own words!). He loves all the staff and has made lots of friends. Although he has only been here for a short time, he has loved every moment and our only regret is that we didn’t find you earlier. How the last 2 academic years have flown, and after an anxious wait for M and P to start Charterhouse they are now leaving. The fact that they settled in so well and easily is a testament to how lovely you all are and how hard you all work to make the kids feel welcome, settled and happy. We’re so happy that they got to enjoy Charterhouse as much as M did before them. She still remembers her time with you. Thank you also for looking after the parents! As a busy working Mum, those little reminders are always valued. Charterhouse Pre-School will always have fond memories for us.

I was so worried when I brought my just over 2 year old to the June settling in session. Little did I know that I had absolutely nothing to worry about, as all the staff are so kind and friendly. You all do an amazing job and I cannot thank you enough for your part in making J the happy fun loving young boy he is today, who loves rhyming and story time. I loved the detail that was always included in his termly reports, the time and effort you must have put in, including things that he has said, word for word. I can’t believe it’s G’s last day at pre-school. It only feels five minutes ago that I came to see you with G at Charterhouse and had to put his name on the waiting list! None of the other pre-schools I visited compared so it was such a blessing when a place became available. We have seen our little boy flourish at your amazing pre-school and know this would not have been possible without you – the amazing teachers – who have helped him build his confidence, vocabulary and social skills as well as several other interests. Thank you for everything you’ve done for B over the last 2 years. I still remember when he had just started, he couldn’t say ‘pre-school’ so he just called it ‘toys’. He has enjoyed his time here so much and has learnt such a lot. He had a great time taking part in both Nativities, as well as coming home singing lots of other songs he has learnt. He has always been proud to show us his latest piece of art work. He has also been increasingly very interested in the different themes, especially liking when you did the different stories.

A simple thank you would be insufficient to express the extent of the gratitude I feel for each of you and the work, time and love you have shared with W over the past 2 years. Receiving a call from Charterhouse telling me you had a place for W was an answer to a desperate mother’s prayer. We came to the UK without family or friends and the ‘village’ that you have provided to W has filled the empty gaps in his life and has been a saving grace in mine. I will feel eternally grateful for all of the care you have shown to my son.

Dear Staff and children,
I thoroughly enjoyed the Nativity show this morning! It was truly delightful! It is challenging to put on a performance of that calibre with such young children and it is to everyones credit how well the show went. I appreciate how hard you have all worked to achieve such stunning results and the children responded so well to guidance. It’s amazing what such young children can achieve when they are well motivated! The co-operation with The Highway choir worked so well as the little ones looked to them as well for their lead.
Please thank everyone involved – a true team effort – but especially the real stars – the children!

You have been the most patient, kind and caring people we have come across. We will miss you and hope you honestly realise how appreciated all the little things (and big things) you do to help children grow, because you do an amazing job.
Thanks to the teachers of Charterhouse Pre-School for being such a great support for A. She has loved every single moment in this setting and will miss her teachers and friends a lot.
E has enjoyed her time at pre-school and will be sad to leave.
